The ICAS Foundation supports talented undergraduate students studying accountancy or finance, from application through to qualification, with financial support, mentoring, and real career opportunities.
What the Programme Offers
Three kinds of support, working together
Financial support
A bursary of up to £2,500 a year, for up to four years of your degree, plus access to the Additional Support Fund for unexpected hardship.

Mentoring
One-to-one support from an experienced finance professional throughout your studies, career guidance, interview preparation, and honest advice.
Career opportunities
Access to internships, professional events, and connections with firms that students might not otherwise be able to reach.
A four-year relationship, not a one-off award
Support runs for the length of a student's degree, up to four years, because meaningful change takes sustained support, not a single intervention. A bursary helps in year one. A mentor, a network, and real opportunities are what carry a student all the way to qualification.
For Students
Talented students from low-income backgrounds.
The Programme supports undergraduate students studying accountancy or finance at eligible universities across Scotland and beyond, who come from households with an annual income under £34,000. Ability, not background, is what matters.
For Schools, Colleges and Universties
If you're a teacher, lecturer or advisor working with eligible students, we're happy to help you promote the Programme, through careers fairs, one-to-one sessions, or classroom seminars.
