What you'll be asked

As part of your application, you'll be asked to answer the four following questions in your own words. 

Each answer should be at least 200 words. This is a key part of how we assess your application, without enough detail, we can't assess it effectively.

Many applicants draft their answers in a word processor first, then copy them into the form.

If you're considering using AI to help write your application, read our guidance first. Whether or not you use AI, your application should reflect your own voice and experiences.

Before you start make sure you're eligible

You'll need a household income under £34,000, to be eligible for UK government student support, and to be studying, or planning to study, an accountancy or finance-related course at an eligible university or college.

Here are the next steps

We aim to let you know the outcome within 6 weeks of the closing date, provided all relevant information has been submitted. If you're selected to progress, you'll be asked to provide more detailed information to confirm your eligibility.

Successful applicants generally receive support for the full duration of their studies, there's no need to reapply each year.
