ICAS Foundation

We're delighted to welcome Madison Palladino to the ICAS Foundation as our new Learning and Programmes Officer.

Maddie's background spans accountancy recruitment and social mobility, including mentoring, internships and workshops for school-age students, alongside advising Banking and Finance clients on their own social mobility initiatives.

In her new role, Maddie will help deliver our student programmes, events, mentoring activity and alumni engagement - supporting the young people we work with at every stage of their journey with us.

For a lot of our students and mentors, Maddie will be the first person they speak to - whether that's a student asking about their next report deadline, or a mentor working through a training module before their first session. She'll also help run events like our annual Programme Conference, and support the training which helps students develop their skills and become the accountants of the future.

It's a role that sits right at the heart of what makes the Foundation's support work - and that’s consistent, human contact, not just a bursary and a form.

In her own words:

"I'm delighted to be joining ICAS Foundation and finally combining my two worlds - accountancy recruitment and social mobility - in one role.

Since attending drama school, I'm an avid musical theatre fan, and a bit of a foodie, so you'll probably find me exploring Edinburgh's food scene in my spare time!"

Welcome to the team, Maddie!
