ICAS Foundation

As we move into the Summer, we have a number of challenging opportunities for supporters to raise money for the Foundation.

Would you like to fly across the water at Strathclyde Park on August 15th?

On Saturday August 15th we have ten spaces for the Charity Zipslide Challenge at the stunning Strathclyde Park Loch. After climbing to a launch point 50m in the air, you’ll fly for 1,000ftabove the water with breathtaking views all around. It’s a great way to take on a challenge, feel an adrenaline rush, and raise some money for a great cause.

What about a stroll from Leith to Murrayfield at Kiltwalk Edinburgh?

On September 13th graduating Foundation student Aaron Sweeney is taking on the Kiltwalk Big Stroll in Edinburgh, aiming to raise £1000 to give back to the charity. If you’d like to join him for a brisk 11 mile walk you can register directly for the event and select the ICAS Foundation as your charity of choice during the process.

Would you like to see the Forth Rail Bridge in a whole new way?

On October 4th we have places for a unique abseil – a 165ft descent from the Forth Rail Bridge at South Queensferry. Run by Chest, Heart and Stroke Scotland this challenge gives a money can’t buy opportunity to see the UNESCO World Heritage site from a completely new angle – before rewarding yourself with a treat from South Queensferry’s many cafes.

Or for the ultimate challenge – could you take on the TCS London Marathon 2027?

We’re still accepting expressions of interest in charity places for the TCS London Marathon 2027. You may have seen that for one year only, the 2027 London Marathon will take place on two days.

We have entered a ballot for a further two places for Saturday 24th April.

We plan to allocate our places in July when we know how many places we have to offer.

Complete our expression of interest form and we'll be in touch with more information
