Director - Sanjay Singh
Sanjay joined ICAS Foundation in September 2022 from NHS Lothian Charity, where he had been Head of Funding Programmes. His background has been in the charity sector for 15 years, prior to which he spent 7 years in banking. Before joining the NHS, he worked for People’s Postcode Lottery managing a number of grant giving Trusts, distributing up to £60m in charitable funding worldwide.
He is currently a Trustee with the UK’s leading bakery retailers’ charity Greggs Foundation and Postcode International, Justice, Education and Global Trusts with People’s Postcode Lottery, whose players have raised more than £900 million for 9,000 charities and good causes. Previously, he has also been an advisory council board member of WWF Scotland and Unicef Scotland.
Head of Volunteering and Programmes - Amy Drysdale
Amy joined the ICAS Foundation in July 2019, having previously worked in the National Trust for Scotland's People Department. Her background is in volunteer management, particularly in the heritage and museums sector, where she worked for 10 years. As one of the earliest ProjectScotland volunteers, she has a longstanding interest in supporting young people from a range of backgrounds to achieve their potential.
Her volunteer management experience includes participation in the working group delivering Scotland's largest volunteer management conference, giving lectures on volunteering in Scotland and presenting at a not-for-profit UK statistical volunteer benchmarking event. She is currently a member of the Royal Scottish Country Dance Society's Education and Training Committee, and was previously Trustee and Secretary for a local charity in West Fife for 12 years.
Foundation Administrator - Nadia Salo
Nadia joined ICAS Foundation in April 2024, having previously worked within NHS Lothian where she assisted in co-ordinating Cardiology elective procedures. Her background offers 6 years of experience in healthcare administration and the mental health sector, covering both adult and children’s services. She is passionate about the health and wellbeing of adults, young people and children. Nadia has previously volunteered with an organisation that provides therapeutic, parenting and childcare services to families in need of support.
Currently, Nadia is expanding her knowledge by taking online courses in areas such as supporting children and young people’s wellbeing and understanding ADHD. Her commitment to continuous learning and diverse experience reflects her dedication to supporting others and making a positive impact on their lives.
Data and Reporting Manager - Stew Cowan
With over seven years of experience in the charity sector, with a focus on fundraising and data management, Stew Cowan brings a wealth of knowledge to his role as Data and Reporting Manager. Before joining The ICAS Foundation in July 2024, Stew worked with prominent Scottish institutions such as the Royal Zoological Society of Scotland, Royal Botanic Garden Edinburgh, and National Museums Scotland, where he developed expertise in CRM systems.
Stew's background in science, coupled with a master's in public engagement and a Certificate in Fundraising from the Chartered Institute of Fundraising, allows him to apply data-driven decision-making to improve efficiency and innovation at The ICAS Foundation.
Marketing and Communications Manager - Greg Clark
Greg Clark joined The ICAS Foundation in July 2024 after working within the Further and Higher education sector for 10 years. He is passionate about widening access and creating opportunities for those from the most disadvantaged backgrounds. As Marketing and Communications Manager, Greg brings extensive experience in all areas of marketing and communications. This diverse background gives him a strong understanding of how different functions work together, underpinning strategies with a holistic approach, that effectively engage audiences and drive results.
In addition to his role at The ICAS Foundation, Greg has served as a Non-Executive Director at Helm Training for the last five years where he contributes to strategic decisions that support the young people who use the service.
Head of Income and Engagement - Chris O'Sullivan
Chris O'Sullivan is a strategic leader with two decades of experience in the voluntary sector, including policy, programmes, campaigns, fundraising, and communications. He has led teams across Scotland and the UK with Cancer Support Scotland, MND Scotland, and Mental Health Foundation.
Passionate about social justice and widening access to education, Chris brings his expertise to The ICAS Foundation to make a tangible difference in social mobility.
